This Privacy Policy explains how Nexify LLC ("Nexify", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Nexify VPN mobile app and our website (together, the "Services").

2) Summary (plain language)

  • We don't collect the contents of your VPN traffic.
  • We don't log your browsing history, DNS queries, or the websites/apps you visit through the VPN.
  • We process limited data to operate the service (e.g., connection events, device info, and subscription status).
  • Payments and trials on iOS are handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.

3) Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services:

a) Account & Subscription

  • Apple App Store subscription status, trial status, and anonymized identifiers needed to verify entitlement.
  • Country/region tied to your storefront.
  • We do not receive your full payment card details.

b) App Usage & Diagnostics (minimal, service-operational)

  • Connection metadata: timestamps of connection attempts, protocol, selected server/location, and performance metrics (latency, throughput, failure reasons).
  • Device & app info: device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs (if enabled).
  • IP addresses: the app must process your IP to establish a VPN tunnel. We do not retain your source IP longer than necessary to provide the session and enforce security/abuse protections.

c) Website Data

  • Standard web logs (e.g., IP address, user-agent, pages viewed).
  • Cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions; any analytics cookies will be disclosed in a separate Cookie Notice (if used).

d) Support

  • Email content and metadata you send to support@nexifyvpn.com.

4) Information We Do Not Collect Through the VPN

  • The contents of your VPN traffic.
  • Your browsing history or app usage outside aggregated, non-identifying performance metrics.
  • DNS queries or destination IPs attributed to you as an individual.

5) Why We Process Data (Purposes)

  • Provide & maintain the VPN Service (establish connections, route traffic, verify subscriptions).
  • Performance & reliability (diagnose outages, optimize servers).
  • Security & abuse prevention (detect fraud, attacks, spam).
  • Customer support (answer questions, troubleshoot).
  • Legal compliance (e.g., tax, accounting, law-enforcement requests as required by law).

6) Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to provide the Service you request.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): security, fraud prevention, service improvement.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): compliance with applicable laws.

7) Retention
